The Washington-based portal “The Pavlovic Today” today published a statement from Trump’s press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, in which she denies reports that the American president’s Chief of Staff, Susie Wiles, prevented Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić from attending an event at Mar-a-Lago, as reported by the media these days.
“The Chief of Staff did not ‘block’ him [Vučić] from attending any event at Mar-a-Lago,” Karoline Leavitt told Pavlovic Today. And added: “That’s fake news.”
From the writing of The Pavlovic Today, it is clear that Leavitt denied that Wiles prevented Vučić from entering the presidential complex in Florida, but the answer to the question of whether someone else from Trump’s team could have done it remains unclear.
We tried to get that answer from Ksenija Pavlović McAteer, editor of the portal The Pavlovic Today, but she did not answer our phone calls and messages.
Vučić had been in Florida in recent days, where he expected to meet with Trump, twice, as he stated.
However, in the sunny state, he only met with former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani and hinted that he would conclude an economic agreement on tariffs, but a day later it was announced that the Serbian president had fallen ill, and that for health reasons he canceled everything and returned to Belgrade by presidential “Falcon.”
Shortly thereafter, officially unconfirmed news began to arrive that Vučić was denied entry to Trump’s estate, where two events were taking place those days, the campaign promotion and donor dinner for Florida gubernatorial candidate Byron Donalds, as well as the Republican Convention.
According to some reports, Vučić’s arrival was personally prohibited by Trump’s Chief of Staff, Susie Wiles, while others claim it was done by the U.S. Secret Service when it was determined that Vučić is a foreign national who, under American law, cannot attend donor dinners for American politicians and candidates for state office.
In his statement to Serbian Times today, Aleksandar Jovičić from the organization “Serbs for Trump” stated that someone tried to introduce Vučić to the donor dinner under a false name.

“The president tried to enter Byron Donalds’ reception on the list of one of our people who are sponsors of Donalds’ campaign, but under the false name Alex Vuči, which the protocol and Secret Service people discovered during identification and asked Vučić to leave the presidential complex in Mar-a-Lago,” said Jovičić, who says that someone from Trump’s team gave him that information.
Meanwhile, American businessman of Serbian origin Goran Petković (Michigan) also spoke to our portal, expressing doubt about the claims that President Vučić was prevented from trying to enter the Republican reception.
CHECKS ARE RIGOROUS:
“The security system at Mar-a-Lago, which I have gone through several times, works so that when you receive an invitation, you are required to go through the security procedures of the Secret Service. When you arrive for the first time, you receive a link through which your personal documents, status, and citizenship are checked. Therefore, it sounds incredible to me that someone registered President Vučić under a false name, because that would have been discovered during the online check, he would not have been able to approach the Mar-a-Lago parking lot, let alone the building where the event took place,” Petković points out, who met with Vučić in Florida, during which the following photo was taken…
What exactly happened in Trump’s sunny resort is still not entirely clear, so Serbian Times will try to uncover more information in the coming days that would shed light on this case.
