Aleksandra, a high school graduate from Kragujevac Gymnasium, left everyone who saw her breathless with her look for the prom night. In a dress inspired by ancient Greece, she looked as if she had just stepped off Mount Olympus.
High school graduates across Serbia made a serious effort to shine this year, but Aleksandra from Kragujevac definitely deserved the title of the most beautiful. Her styling was so striking that comments of admiration just kept coming – and everyone agreed on one thing: she looked like the goddess Aphrodite.
The bottom part of Aleksandra’s dress consisted of a white skirt with recognizable pleats, reminiscent of Greek statues. The top part was completely asymmetrical – a golden metallic corset resembled a shield, precisely shaped to look like a true fashion sculpture. The outfit was complemented by golden earrings and a clutch bag made of the same material as the corset, all of which together created an aesthetically perfect, harmonious, and dramatic fashion statement.
Aleksandra wore an elegant bun in the Old Hollywood style, and her makeup was subtle but prominent enough to emphasize her natural beauty.
In a brief conversation, Aleksandra revealed how she came up with this unique styling:
“I had been looking for a corset like this for a long time, ever since I first saw it by chance on Pinterest over a year ago… And before the prom, while I was looking for ideas, it was as if someone heard me – a woman from Niš who makes them perfectly popped up, and I had to seize the opportunity. I had the skirt sewn in Kragujevac, and with a corset like that, only something similar to my skirt would work. I had a vision, like some Greek style… I didn’t have much time, maybe everything didn’t turn out exactly as I wanted, but I’m satisfied,” Aleksandra revealed for Blic Žena!
