In the atmosphere of the greatest social divisions, the military parade called “The strength of unity” ended.

While the army paraded through the streets of the capital, the police and the Gendarmerie prevented peaceful citizens and students from approaching the parade.

More than 10,000 participants presented about 2,500 units of weaponry and military equipment, over 600 vehicles, 70 aircraft and 20 vessels at the parade.

The Israeli missile systems “PULS” and the unmanned aerial vehicle “Hermes 900” were shown to the public for the first time. During the aviation flyover, French “Rafales,” planes that Serbia paid 2.7 billion euros for and that have yet to become part of the Serbian Army in a few years, flew together with Serbian MiGs.

During the parade, the river flotilla paraded on the Danube and Sava.

In Novi Beograd, the “cobras” showed a part of the procedure for protecting a protected person.

During the parade of the echelon of motorized units, there were “Lazar 3”, “Miloš”, “Hummer” armored combat vehicles with members of special and reconnaissance units, quads, and a modernized “Žirafa”.

Two batteries of the FK-3 missile air defense system were presented, as well as the “Pantsir” and “Neva” air defense systems with missiles of the type that were used to shoot down planes during the NATO aggression in 1999.

The HQ-17A air defense missile system, “Hermes 900” reconnaissance and combat unmanned aerial vehicles, LM (loitering ammunition) Shadow-25, i.e., a medium-range drone armed with a 25-kilogram warhead, were presented.

The parade ended with a parachute jump from an H-145 helicopter, from a height between 1,500 and 2,000 meters. One paratrooper carried the flag of the Republic of Serbia, and the other the flag of the Serbian Army.

BIN ZAYED LEFT THE PARADE BEFORE THE END

The highest officials of Aleksandar Vučić’s regime attended, and the only high official from abroad was the president of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed.

However, as could be seen on Tanjug’s broadcast, bin Zayed left the parade an hour before the end.

At around 12 o’clock, he got up from his seat next to Vučić and, accompanied by a good part of his delegation, left the central stands. It is not clear why the ruler of the UAE left this place. Soon after him, Milorad Dodik sat next to Vučić.
