Crown Prince Alexander and Princess Katarina Karađorđević have sent a congratulatory message to the citizens and Government of Republika Srpska on the upcoming Statehood Day and patron saint’s day of the Holy First Martyr Archdeacon Stephen.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all citizens and the Government of Republika Srpska on Statehood Day and patron saint’s day. The tradition of our people and our history remind us of the unbreakable bonds created by our ancestors, which are just as strong and firm today. The Drina has never been and will never be a border, because where there is love, respect, and unbreakable ties, there can never be a border. Therefore, we send our warmest and sincerest greetings to our brothers and sisters in Republika Srpska – it was stated in the congratulatory message:

Even in the most difficult times, you have always been steadfast in preserving and protecting the Serbian identity and tradition and respecting the age-old vows of our ancestors to cherish and defend freedom, honor, and dignity as one of the greatest treasures. The libertarian ideals that are at the very heart of our people are the foundations on which Republika Srpska and Serbia rest today and will continue to rest in all times. We wish all citizens of Republika Srpska good health and all happiness and prosperity in their personal lives, and to Republika Srpska success and progress.
