The First Basic Court in Belgrade annulled the annex to the contract by which Dr. Vladimir Dugalić was dismissed from the position of head of the First Surgical Clinic as illegal, said lawyer Mila Tomanović.

“The result of this decision will be the return of Dr. Dugalić to the position of head, after the judgment becomes final. The existence of judges who put the law above political power games and thus protect the legal security of all citizens of Serbia is encouraging,” the statement said, as reported by N1.

Dr. Vladimir Dugalić, commenting on the verdict, said that after everything, he is overjoyed to return to his team and his patients.

“I am glad that it turned out that there are still honorable judges who put social and citizens’ interests above political ones. I am overjoyed to return to my team and my patients, who daily seek my help, which for well-known reasons I have not been able to provide them in the past 10 months. A proof that one should fight for the truth regardless of the sacrifice,” he pointed out.

We remind you that the eminent professor Dr. Vladimir Dugalić, one of the most respected experts in liver surgery in the region, who publicly criticized the Minister of Health Zlatibor Lončar and was among the first to support students, was dismissed at the end of last year from the position of head of the department of the First Surgical Clinic of the UKC.
