Police officers have raided the building of the Public Enterprise “Urban Planning” in the northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica, detaining director Marija Simović and continuing the closure of institutions previously associated with the Provisional Municipal Authority of the Government of Serbia.

The regional police directorate for the North stated that the operation was conducted following information that a branch of the Urban Planning office might be operating in an apartment near the Technical School.

“We investigated this information and found it to be accurate. After consulting with the prosecutor, the documents found at the location were confiscated. Several individuals were interviewed, and a case of document forgery has been opened. This case has been linked to the previous case involving the parallel structure in North Mitrovica,” said Veton Eljšani, deputy commander of the regional police, to RTS.

Yesterday, police officers also raided the Public Housing Company and the Directorate for Urban Land and Roads in the northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica, blocking the entrance to the building.

Vučević: Raid on “urban planning” is a continuation of terror against Serbs

Prime Minister Miloš Vučević stated that the Kosovo police raid on the Public Enterprise “Urban Planning” in the northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica is yet another act of terror against Serbs.

“Once again, we are witnessing shameful scenes of Kurti’s incompetence. He continues the terror against Serbs and exploits the holiday season to push forward his terrorist agenda and illegal seizure of Serbian property in northern Kosovo and Metohija,” Vučević wrote on Instagram.

Vučević added that Kurti’s special forces stormed the enterprise’s premises, which employ around ten workers.

The Serbian Prime Minister emphasized that any reasonable person can see that Kurti is frustrated by his failure to ban the Serbian List.

He further noted that Kurti’s attempts to eliminate Serbs from political life have all failed, prompting him to resort to various methods to pressure the Serbian population in northern Kosovo and Metohija.

“The whole world is beginning to understand who is causing the problems and who is attempting to destabilize the region with unilateral actions in Kosovo and Metohija. Serbia will act responsibly and do everything in its power to maintain peace,” Vučević concluded.
