Kristina Milošević, the mother of two-year-old Dunja Marković from Ub, who was found unharmed after an extensive search, shared a photo of her daughter on Facebook, announcing that the girl is recovering well.
“As Dunja Marković’s mother, I want to publicly thank everyone for their support and efforts in searching for my little girl. I also want to inform you all that Dunja is recovering and will soon be home with her family. Thank you all,” the girl’s mother wrote.
As a reminder, Dunja Marković (2), who went missing in Ub, was found alive and well. The search for the child mobilized all of Serbia, and for the third time since its introduction, the Find Me system was activated.
“The girl was found alive and well. She is doing fine. We searched the area throughout the night, and our search dog located her. The rest is now in the hands of the doctors,” Aleksa Gluščević from the Mountain Rescue Service told reporters.
Yesterday, Dunja was transferred from Valjevo Hospital to the University Children’s Clinic in Tiršova.
“The 22-month-old girl is stable and has been admitted for observation and intravenous rehydration due to hypoglycemia detected upon arrival. Superficial abrasions are present on the skin of her limbs and face. Neurological findings are normal. Examination of the limbs, lungs, and heart showed no issues. She has been admitted to the Children’s Clinic under her mother’s supervision for further observation,” the Tiršova Clinic stated in an official announcement.
