Polish competitor Kamila Selijer suffered a terrifying injury when, after a fall, another skater accidentally struck her with a skate directly in the face.

Medical staff immediately rushed onto the ice to stop the heavy bleeding and provide first aid to the shocked Polish athlete.
Initial information indicates that Kamila had incredible luck in the accident, as the sharp blade passed just a centimeter below her eye.
Although tragedy and loss of vision were avoided, the injury is extremely serious, with suspicions of a fractured cheekbone or other facial bones, which will definitely be confirmed after urgent X-rays and detailed surgical examinations.
