Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Crime Suppression Service and the Terrorism Combating Service of the Criminal Police Directorate, on the order of the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Novi Sad, arrested six people on the grounds of suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of preparing acts against the constitutional order and security of Serbia, in connection with the criminal offense of calling for a violent change of the constitutional order.
Arrested were L. D., (2001), a member of the “Stav” organization, and five members of the Free Citizens’ Movement M. C. (1999), D. S. (2000), M. V. (1975), L. J. (1981) and S. Đ. (1998).
The police state that they are intensively continuing further work on this case. In the recordings that were published last night in most national media, voices identified as activists of the PSG and the Stav organization can be heard planning a raid on the RTS building.
