Serbian woman Kristina Perić, a volleyball player for POST University in Connecticut, finished the 2025 season as the best player in the entire NCAA DII division by AVCA statistics. This exceptional success is crowned by her being named the CACC Conference Player of the Year, while she was also included in the CACC First Team and the entire EAST Region First Team.
Kristina is the captain of the POST University volleyball team in Connecticut, the best scorer in the NCAA DII league, and also a student with a 4.0 GPA in her second master’s program.
The 2025 season was a record year for her. She set a POST University record with 621 kills in a single season, surpassing all previous results. Particularly impressive were her performances in key matches: 37 kills in one match, a record that dates back to 2005 in the CACC Conference, and 35 kills in the CACC Conference semi-finals, which further highlighted her talent.
With this success, Kristina Perić not only broke Post University records but also set a new standard in university volleyball, confirming her status as the program’s first star and a leader in the entire division.
Although on another continent, Kristina does not forget her roots. Born in Belgrade, she proudly emphasizes her origin and often shares support for her colleagues from Serbia on social media.
