Sara Ćirković, a Serbian boxer, achieved a career feat in Banjaluka by winning the title of professional world champion.

Sara Ćirković defeated Frenchwoman Roman Mullai by unanimous decision of the judges and thus won the IBA professional world champion title in the competition up to 53.5 kilograms.

The success is even greater considering that this was Sara’s first professional fight in her career.

The match lasted 10 rounds of two minutes each, and the Serbian woman deservedly won.

Sara Ćirković is otherwise the current European champion (senior competition and up to 22 years old), as well as a bronze medalist at the World Championships.

In addition to Sara’s triumph, Serbian boxers Aleksej Šendrik, Almir Memić, and Jovan Nikolić also achieved important victories against international rivals.
