The President of the Serbian Government said before the conference in Shanghai that he will accept the resignation of Goran Vesic.
“I will accept the resignation of the Minister of Construction, Traffic and Infrastructure, Goran Vesic, with gratitude for everything he has done during his mandate,” said Serbian Government Minister Milos Vucevic today before the start of the conference in Shanghai, reports Blic.
“Goran Vesic’s decision is an act of a responsible man who is aware that when you hold the most important position, you also bear the burden of responsibility. I have no doubt that Goran Vesic is not subjectively guilty of anything that happened on November 1st in Novi Sad,” said Vucevic.

The Prime Minister stated that Vesic is objectively responsible because he is the minister of that ministry.
“In view of that, and we have had several phone conversations in the previous days, I will accept his resignation with gratitude for everything he has done in the mandate of this and the previous government. I cannot say that he did not do his job, but in politics there is responsibility for things for which you are not personally guilty. I understood his message and resignation,” said Vucevic.
He pointed out that it would be illogical to end everything with the resignation of Goran Vesic.
“We will give another 24 hours to see if those who were in charge of certain issues, related to the responsibility we are talking about, will remember on their own. I expect resignations in the coming days,” said Vucevic.
