After the juniors, it was time for the master category at the European Armwrestling Championship, and the Serbian national team in this sport proudly welcomed a two-medal winner in one day: one gold and one silver!
Krav Maga instructor Branislav Jakšić, at 62 years old, conquered the Old Continent in the masters category up to 100 kilograms with his left arm, while with his right, he stood on the second step of the podium, making all of us proud.

In the left-arm final, he defeated Lyuben Ivanov from Bulgaria, while in the right arm, a Ukrainian was better than him in the fight for gold.
The anthem “Bože pravde” (God of Justice) was played in Cluj, neighboring Romania, where the European Championship is being held. All details were shared with us by the President of the Serbian Armwrestling Federation, Nenad Smiljković.

Throughout his life, Jakšić has trained various special units at home and abroad, demonstrating that at 62, you can still be more than ready if you work hard.
In the master category on the third day of the championship, Radiša Milojković also competed, finishing fifth in both the right and left arm, as well as Stevan Jankov, who was ninth in both categories.
