Stefan Jević (31), who went missing in Bangkok a week ago, holds Serbian citizenship, confirmed Aleksandar Radulović, the honorary consul of the Republic of Serbia in Thailand.
According to Mr. Radulović, the family of the missing young man has reached out to the consulate for help. He also shared an important piece of information that gives much-needed hope to Stefan’s family and friends.
“The most important thing for now is that he is not among the deceased and that there is hope we will find him,” Radulović emphasized.
According to the honorary consul of Serbia in Thailand, the police have checked the apartment where Stefan usually lives, but he was not there, and there was nothing suspicious in the apartment.
“His mobile phone numbers are turned off. The investigation is ongoing. The police are doing their job, and I am also searching for him,” Radulović added.

To recall, Stefan Jević (31), who, according to his sister, is also an Australian citizen, went missing a week ago in Thailand.

She wrote on social media that Stefan went missing on February 20 and was last seen with his girlfriend, whom he knows by the nickname Eli, but they do not have her full name.

According to her, her brother works in a restaurant where he had just received a promotion, but he has not shown up for work in the past few days. The restaurant staff also tried to contact him but were unsuccessful.
