Seven public enterprises have transitioned into the form of limited liability companies, as published in the latest issue of the Official Gazette.
In this round, according to the Law on management of business companies owned by the Republic of Serbia, the Government made the decision to change the legal form of several large and significant public enterprises.
Thus, Post of Serbia, Roads of Serbia, Emisiona tehnika i veze, Srbijavode, the Institute for textbooks, Skloništa Beograd, and the public enterprise for the development and improvement of information via electronic media in the Serbian language in the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija “Mreža-Most” have transitioned from PE to LLC, reports Danas.
For these enterprises, decisions were also made regarding amendments to the founding act, which formulated, among other things, the management bodies and share capital. LLC companies also take over all assets of the public enterprises.
The representative of the founder, specifically the state, in the Assembly of the companies should be appointed no later than within 30 days from the passing of this decision.
