SERBIAN DRUG LORD ARRESTED IN GERMANY: Police prepared the operation for three years, suspected of smuggling 12 tons of drugs!

A man (34) who is allegedly of Serbian origin was arrested last week in Germany in a major police operation on suspicion of drug trafficking. This operation was carried out after a three-year-long investigation, and the alleged Serb has been identified as a drug lord.

According to media reports, in Ratingen, Germany, the police arrested the Serb in his villa. He is suspected of being the leader of a drug clan involved in drug dealing.

The Serb (34) is now in investigative custody, confirmed a spokesperson for the Dusseldorf police. The man is suspected of leading an internationally active drug ring. Over several years, the gang allegedly imported at least 12 tons of cocaine from South America, the estimated value of which is around 100 million euros.

Seized real estate

According to a report by the newspaper “Bild am Sonntag,” 16 properties were searched during the operation. Luxury goods worth almost 800,000 euros were seized in the main suspect’s villa. In addition, real estate worth nearly 15 million euros was seized from close relatives of the man. The arrest of the 34-year-old was carried out by a special police unit last Tuesday morning.

“Drug dealers should not feel too safe”

The operation was preceded by three-year investigations. Four accomplices who have not yet been arrested allegedly operated in Serbia, Canada, and Montenegro as well. The Minister of the Interior of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, Herbert Reul (CDU), told “Bild am Sonntag”:

“Drug dealers should not feel too safe. Property seizures in the millions are not a coincidence, but the result of hard, meticulous investigative work. We hit the big fish where it hurts the most – in their money, their real estate, and their freedom,” he said, according to German media reports.
