Young Serbian basketball player Nikola Topić played a fantastic game in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas! He was one of the best individuals on the court in Oklahoma’s 90-81 victory over Brooklyn.
Topić managed to record an impressive 18 points (5/12 for two-pointers, 2/6 for three-pointers, 2/2 free throws), along with four rebounds, six assists, and three turnovers in 30 minutes on the court. In the reigning champions’ team, only Ajayi Mitchell (20) and Kris Youngblood (19) scored more points than him.
This was the Serbian basketball player’s fourth game in the NBA Summer League, and also his best. After the game, Topić was a target for journalists, who had nothing but words of praise for him.

“It’s not accidental he’s that good,” pic.twitter.com/fgy0vxqW9r
“I feel good, it was tough at the beginning, especially since I played two games in two days. It was even a bit unusual for me to be able to play real basketball again. It was hard because of the break; I hadn’t played for a long time. I only took positive things from it,” Nikola Topić said.
The young Serbian ace also spoke about Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
“He had a great season. He is an incredible player. Just watching him from the bench, working with him, observing him every day in practice, it’s truly incredible. It’s no coincidence that he’s so good,” Topić concluded.
Stefan Todorović played seven minutes for Milwaukee, and Bogoljub Marković played 11. Lazar Stefanović and Đorđije Jovanović, two former Partizan talents, did not get a chance to play for Orlando.
