The President of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), Miloš Vučević, stated today that Serbia is still waiting for an apology from Croatia and the Homeland Movement “for all the evil they inflicted on the Serbian people in the 20th century.”

Vučević responded on the social network X to a statement by Croatian Homeland Movement MEP Stjepo Nikola Bartulica, who said that “as far as Croatia is concerned, there will be no normalization until Serbia acknowledges its responsibility for the aggression in the 90s and agrees to pay war reparations.

“I want to tell this gentleman from the Homeland Movement – You apologize to us for all that you did to us in the 20th century, and then, if possible, let us reconcile, if not – let us live normally next to each other. And we apologize to you, for what? For Jasenovac, for Jadovno, for Prebilovci, or for ‘Bljesak’ and ‘Oluja’? We will not forget Serbian sufferings, and we will insist on an apology forever,” Vučević stated.

He criticized, as he said, the Serbian student blockaders for attending the European Parliament session where the Croatian MEP spoke, assessing that they “went astray and are working with those who do not wish Serbia well.”

“These student blockaders should return to Serbia, to their people, and continue their studies, not socialize with those who boast that there are no more Serbs in their cities and in their country. Homeland Movement, we are waiting for you to apologize, it would be proper,” Vučević added.
