The Prime Minister of Serbia Đuro Macut tried to approach Serbia’s Aleksandar Vučić during yesterday’s “anti-blockade rally” which was organized in Belgrade, but the security of the President of Serbia did not want to allow him to approach, or perhaps didn’t even recognize who he was.

Macut headed toward Vučić, next to whom plainclothes security members were standing, but very quickly he had to stop and retreat. A security member standing next to Vučić looked at Macut somewhat surprised, then nodded to someone and blocked the way for the Prime Minister with his body. Macut retreated a step back and smiled wryly.

You can see what it looked like in the video published by the Students of the Faculty of Electronic Engineering in Niš in blockade with the comment: “And Đuro like a ghost… Where are you going so unknown…?”.

The video went viral on the X network where users are mostly of the opinion that Vučić’s security doesn’t even know who Macut is, alluding to the fact that the prime minister has not meddled too much in his job since the beginning of his term, if we exclude a few statements that his cabinet published.

We are conveying some of the comments:

By the way, supporters of the SNS who are against the blockades gathered yesterday in several cities in Serbia, parallel to citizen and student gatherings. Vučić announced that at the rally in Banjica, where he himself was, there were 12,500 people, while the number of attendees at the citizens’ assembly rally was around 60.

In Voždovac, police separated citizens and SNS supporters.
