Representatives of the Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in New York participated in this year’s International Food, Wine, and Culture Festival, organized by the Association of Foreign Consuls in New York, hosted by the Consulate General of Turkey.

The festival brought together diplomats, consular representatives, and New York officials, celebrating the unity and richness of global cultures through delicious food, wine, and traditions. The rich Serbian culinary heritage and national specialties were presented. In addition, a musical performance was given that highlighted Serbia’s cultural wealth, contributing to the diverse celebration of music, dance, and taste.

The festival brought together 16 countries, each contributing their unique culinary traditions, wines, and cultural performances. In addition to Serbia, the festival was also attended by consular representatives from Argentina, Bulgaria, Georgia, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Morocco, Pakistan, Peru, the Philippines, South Africa, Thailand, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates.

Traditional dances and music from Bulgaria, Georgia, and Indonesia enchanted the audience, while the Serbian performance completed the rich tapestry of this multicultural celebration. This event perfectly reflected the diversity and unity that make New York a global metropolis. We look forward to new opportunities to share Serbian culture with the world and connect with the global community, according to a statement from the Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in New York.
