Eighteen people have been arrested so far due to an alleged attack on Miloš Pavlović in Studentski Grad in New Belgrade. Students in blockade emphasize that for months, even years, arrests have been absent in much more serious cases – such as the canopy collapse, the accident at the factory in Lučani, the murder of Vladimir Cvijan, a child being run over on a pedestrian crossing, the beating of FDU students, and the military helicopter crash. In contrast, for throwing a can and pouring water, more than ten people have been detained.
“For months and years, the culprits for: the canopy collapse, the accident in Lučani, the murder of Cvijan, a child being run over on a pedestrian crossing, the beating of FDU students, the helicopter crash… have not been arrested. For throwing a can and pouring water, more than 10 people have been arrested. Everyone to New Belgrade,” state the students in blockade, adding:
“Are you aware of what is happening and why people have been arrested? This is happening to us, in Serbia, not somewhere else…”

To reiterate, a protest is being held in front of the New Belgrade Police Station, called by students due to the arrest of their colleagues for the alleged attack on Miloš Pavlović.
According to an N1 reporter, it is still unclear where the detained young men are located, and those gathered assume they are here because this station is closest to Studentski Grad.
The gathered crowd is chanting: “Release them all!, Pump it up!”

We remind you that student Miloš Pavlović, known to the Serbian public as the leader of a group that calls itself “Students who want to learn,” accompanied by several friends, briefly went to his actual place of residence last night, the “Studenjak” student dormitory in New Belgrade. There, he was met by students living in the dormitory – with chanting, shouting, and water-pouring.
Regarding the incident, the Academic Plenum also issued a statement, demanding that the Minister of Health, Zlatibor Lončar, show the public the report on the alleged injuries of student Miloš Pavlović, “who was in a wheelchair in the Emergency Center accompanied by him, but in Vučić’s cabinet in the morning without any visible injuries.”
