Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic defeated Corentin Moutet in the second round match of Roland Garros with a score of 3:0 (6:3; 6:2: 7:6).
The Frenchman managed to shock Novak at the start of the match – he got a break in the first game, but Djokovic returned the favor in the second. After that, even the fans who enthusiastically cheered for him in the stands did not help Moutet, and Nole delivered the final blow in the first set in the sixth game when he reached another break.
Moutet did not find solutions for the in-form Djokovic in the continuation of the game either. After four missed opportunities in the first game of the second set, Novak got a break in the third – and from the first chance. Another series of unutilized opportunities followed, and he reached the second break in the seventh game, after which he routinely finished the second set.
Novak was bothered by blisters in the third set, so he was not as dominant as in the first two. He had to ask for medical assistance, and then he exchanged breaks with Moutet “on one leg”. However, the third set turned into a drama that was resolved in a tie-break.
