NICE GESTURE FROM VARAŽDIN RESIDENTS: The City is financing the reception of Serbian students, the mayor will attend!

The City of Varaždin, led by its mayor Neven Bosilj, is preparing a reception for the student runners who are currently passing through Croatia on their way to Brussels.

Until now, the receptions for the students were organized by citizens and colleagues, but this time the City is financing their reception.

The ultramarathon runners have about 55 kilometers left until they reach the city.

The student runners have so far covered around 270 kilometers.

The students were welcomed last night in Virovitica. The reception was held without music because today is a day of mourning in Croatia due to the death of Pope Francis. Among those present at the reception was Croatian singer Severina Vučković.
