The SNSD leader said that Republika Srpska is a barrier against the revival of the ideology of the notorious SS unit and attempts at the political annulment of the Serbian people.
The leader of the SNSD, Milorad Dodik, emphasized that the relativization of the actions of the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Amin al-Husseini, and attempts to portray the role of the notorious 13th SS “Handschar Division” as political or historical pragmatism represent a dangerous revision of history with a clear political agenda.
Dodik pointed out that such interpretations come from the Sarajevo intellectual and media scene, citing the views of Sacir Filandra and the support of the Sarajevo political elite for such narratives.
Релативизација дјеловања јерусалимског муфтије Амина ал-Хусеинија и покушаји да се улога 13. СС Ханџар дивизије прикаже као политички или историјски прагматизам представљају опасну ревизију историје са јасном политичком агендом данас.

“This clearly shows that Republika Srpska is the only barrier against the realization of the actual intentions of Husseini and the SS ‘Handschar Division’ in the modern era,” Dodik stated in a post on the X network. He recalled that this division left a bloody trail over Serbian civilians in eastern Bosnia, Posavina, and Semberija, and that it gained its reputation through brutality against Serbs and Jews.
Dodik emphasized that the relativization of these crimes represents an ideological legalization of hatred toward Serbs with the aim of abolishing Republika Srpska. He said that Srpska survives as a framework that protects the people from the revision of history and that its obligation is to persevere in independence based on anti-fascism and the memory of the victims, in order to prevent the repetition of historical horrors.
