The carrier Milomir Jaćimović, who went on a hunger strike with his son this morning, told N1 that he wants to tell the citizens that he will not pay the fines.
“I don’t want anyone to bother and pay for me – I don’t need help. I don’t want someone else’s children to be hungry while we pay for Ćacilend and Vučić’s whim. If I need help, I will personally come out and call on the people to help me, but I don’t need help,” he told N1.
He said that with the donations he received from citizens a few months ago, he bought two double-decker buses, as well as one bus which is in Novi Sad, and that there is still money left over. He added that the fines have not arrived yet.
Jaćimović said that yesterday he promised a vehicle for the disabled to a student in a wheelchair – “to pay for and buy the vehicle with the people’s money,” as he says.
Speaking about the incident in front of the Banovina building, when Aleksandar Šulc arrived with a toy bus and a bag of groceries, saying that he came to bring a donation to the Jaćimovićs who are on a hunger strike, Jaćimović reminds that he had problems with him before.
Namely, in August, he entered Jaćimović’s yard and physically assaulted him, even breaking his tooth. Jaćimović pointed out that nothing has happened since then, even though, as he says, the police took a statement and a medical record of the injury.
“I went to the Emergency Room immediately, no one is reacting, which doesn’t surprise me, and I was very seriously injured,” he said and added that “we see that we don’t have a police force and whose side they are on.”
