A mural dedicated to the conservative American activist Charlie Kirk, who was murdered on September 10th while speaking on the campus of Utah Valley University in Orem, appeared on a facade in the center of Belgrade.

Charlie Kirk is depicted on the mural in the jersey of the Illinois White Eagles (Beli orlovi iz Ilinoja) – a basketball club in which the majority of players were Serbs!

The mural was created by the Center for Social Stability (CZDS), which calls Kirk a young patriot and fighter for truth, “who became a victim of those who wanted to silence a different opinion.”

-For us at the Center for Social Stability, Charlie was not only a voice of freedom but also a symbol of traditional values and normalcy at a time when those values are under constant attack. He defended family, faith, and freedom of speech: pillars without which no society can survive. That is why he became an inspiration to millions, and his name will be spoken with respect – the CZDS stated in a post on Instagram, adding that with the mural “we wanted to show that Charlie’s ideas and convictions did not disappear with him.”

Incidentally, the Center for Social Stability (CZDS) is an organization that organizes rallies against blockades, which have been organized in various places in Serbia for several weekends now.

Charlie Kirk (31) was killed by gunfire on September 10th. The suspect in Kirk’s murder is Tyler Robinson.
