Men Z.L. (53) and L.S. (26) have been deprived of liberty due to the suspicion that they beat Marko Gvozdenović, the son of the famous singer Snežana Đurišić. In addition to charges for inflicting grievous bodily harm, a report was also filed against them for the criminal offense of abuse and torture.
The attack on Marko Gvozdenović was reported on February 15. After Z.L. invited him to his apartment, and Marko Gvozdenović went, allegedly with the intention of resolving disagreements, the conflict escalated, and, as domestic media report, Z.L. and L.S. beat the singer’s son and kept him locked in an apartment in Vračar for four hours.
Z.L., as suspected, invited Gvozdenović to come to his place, after which he beat him. The two of them have known each other from before, while the beaten Marko Gvozdenović stated that he does not know the suspect L.S.
They have been ordered to be detained for up to 48 hours, within which time they will be brought for questioning to the First Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade, after which the prosecution will issue a more detailed statement.
The prosecution spoke out
We transmit the statement of the First Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in its entirety:
-Regarding the attack on M.G. (46) which occurred in Belgrade, in the territory of the GO Vračar, on February 15, 2026, the duty public prosecutor of the First Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade ordered detention for a duration of 48 hours for Z.L. (1973) and L.S. (2000) due to the existence of suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of grievous bodily harm from Article 121 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code, as well as other criminal offenses. Within the stated period, the suspects will be questioned, after which the prosecution will issue a more detailed statement.
