He was lucky that Radoš Bajić saw him in the newspaper and called the editorial office to ask for his contact because he was preparing “Halyard Heroes” at the time – in this achievement he plays a real person, pilot James Alonzo Walker.
For that role, he received awards at the festivals: Anatolian Film Awards (Turkey), Eastern Europe Film Festival, Five Continents, New York International Film Awards, Oniros, Rome International Movie Awards, and Sweden Films. “Halyard Heroes” is now on the Amazon platform for everyone who missed it in the cinema. While living in Belgrade, Adam Davenport filmed a smaller role directly with Kate Hudson in the movie Knives Out 2, whose production was right in Belgrade.
Film critic Karen Benardello said that Adam was very precise in his performance, which was a very brave decision and gave multi-layeredness to this scene. This is his first role he received without an audition. He was the only American on the crew. The whole team was hospitable, and the collaboration with the director was a valuable experience.
