The American tech company Google announced that it has donated one million dollars to Donald Trump’s inauguration fund.
“Google is pleased to support the 2025 inauguration by livestreaming it on YouTube and providing direct links on our homepage. We are also donating to the inauguration committee,” said Google’s head of government affairs and public policy, Karan Bhatia, to CNBC.
Google joins tech firms OpenAI and Meta, which announced late last year that they would each donate one million dollars to the inauguration fund. Apple and Amazon have reportedly already made their contributions.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai and former Alphabet president Sergey Brin met with Trump after the election in November, and Pichai publicly congratulated the president-elect on his “decisive victory” in a post on social media platform X.
