Newly elected U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that the White House Senior Advisor for Artificial Intelligence (AI) will be Sriram Krishnan, a former general partner at the venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz.

In a statement, Trump said Krishnan “will help shape and coordinate AI policy across the government, working with the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology,” TechCrunch reported.

Krishnan, in a post on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), stated that he will work closely with former PayPal CEO David Sacks, whom media outlets have referred to as Trump’s “czar” for crypto markets and AI.
