Terrorist H. H. was arrested at the Merdare crossing on suspicion of killing a Serbian civilian in Kosovo and Metohija 26 years ago.
“Members of the police, UKP, and the Service for the Detection of War Crimes arrested H. H. (77) at the Merdare administrative crossing due to grounds for suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of war crime,” it was announced.
It is suspected that in June 1999 in Podujevo in Kosovo and Metohija, in complicity with several members of the “OVK,” he used a firearm to kill a civilian of Serbian nationality.
The suspect has been ordered to be detained for up to 48 hours, after which he will be brought before the Public Prosecutor’s Office for War Crimes along with a criminal complaint.
