The American elections are over, and among the first to congratulate the newly elected President Trump on his victory and his triumphant return to the White House at his headquarters in Florida are Serbs!
A delegation of American businessmen of Serbian origin, led by former Illinois governor Rod Blagojević, met with special invitations at Donald Trump’s election headquarters in West Palm Beach, where they waited for the election results with other dignitaries and finally celebrated the victory in the closest circle of Trump’s associates.
Previously, Serbian businessmen had important meetings with American senators and congressmen from the ranks of the Republican Party, and two of them, Ranko Ristic and Filip Milivojević, had the opportunity earlier in the evening to present Robert Kennedy, one of Trump’s closest associates, with a commemorative monograph about 140 years diplomatic relations between Serbia and the United States of America.
