Singer Danica Crnogorčević has faced the cancellation of multiple performances.
Danica Crnogorčević was supposed to perform in several cities across Serbia.
It was recently confirmed that the concert in Kragujevac, scheduled for December 7, will not take place, and this is not the only event that has been canceled after she and her husband expressed support for student protests in Serbia.
Ivan Crnogorčević, Danica’s husband, published a list of canceled performances: the concerts in Kraljevo on January 13 and in Zlatibor on February 15, as well as a humanitarian concert in Bijelo Polje, will not be held.
In an Instagram post, Ivan emphasized that the cancellations are the result of their clear positions on current social issues and the challenges the people have been facing recently.
In the caption, he wrote: “A year remains behind us, a year that separated light from darkness, justice from injustice, law from lawlessness, the righteous from the unrighteous. ‘Everyone is born to die once, honor and shame live forever.’”
