Slovenian playmaker Luka Dončić has signed a new contract with the LA Lakers, now for three years, and it is stated that with this signing he should earn 165 million dollars in that period.
“I am excited and I will work to bring titles to Los Angeles and make Lakers fans proud,” the 26-year-old Dončić promised, and then added:
“I am grateful to the Lakers, my teammates and the fans who have given me love since day one. This is just the beginning.”
Dončić decided to allocate five million dollars for the development of 77 athletes, symbolically after his jersey number, around the world.

This signing was expected, and Dončić came to the USA for sponsorship obligations, so it was expected that he would also extend his cooperation with the Lakers.
Dončić also boasted about his new shape in an interview and a photo session for the well-known magazine “Men’s Health”, which made a mistake with the data for his reflection.
Luka will lead the Slovenian national team at Eurobasket, for which Vlatko Čančar and Josh Nebo will not be available, and before the European Championship he will come to Belgrade to measure forces with the Serbian national team in a preparatory match.
