The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, stated that Republika Srpska is in the final phase of its political struggle and path and that, as he stated, if it does not distance itself from Sarajevo in search of its Dayton rights, it will cease to exist.
Milorad Dodik, a guest on the Morning Program of Radio-Television of Republika Srpska, expressed the view that certain political circles in Sarajevo want to abolish Republika Srpska, and that, as he said, “everyday life is full of tricks and attempts to reduce and abolish Republika Srpska”.
Dodik: Srpska at a crossroads – either distancing from Sarajevo or ceasing to exist
“The same people always do it – Bosniaks, Muslims. They are very compact. For them, Republika Srpska is a synonym for evil,” Dodik said, adding that, in his opinion, it is a political conflict that also has a religious dimension.
Speaking about the actions of high representatives in BiH, Dodik reiterated the position that they had previously, as he stated, illegally and in violation of the Constitution, removed politicians, predominantly from Republika Srpska.
“A strong will to defend Srpska”
He also pointed out that a legal basis is now being formed for the further collapse of the constitutional order, adding that it is stated in judicial processes that the high representative is part of the constitutional order of BiH.
“That is a notorious lie. Now we are coming to a key position where an act of a lower body is destroying the Constitution,” Dodik said.
He said that there is a strong will in Republika Srpska for its defense and added that in BiH it is a matter of a “Muslim attack on Christians” and that Sarajevo wants to create an oasis called Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Referring to his own criminal proceedings, Dodik pointed out that he was accused because he signed a decree, and added that for 20 years they “have been trying to find some act for persecution”.
