Novak Djokovic, Serbia’s best tennis player, has made a change to his team ahead of the upcoming Australian Open, which will be played in January.

Djokovic has moved to Athens, where he has begun preparations for the first Grand Slam of the season, and a new face has been spotted in his team during training.

Alongside Boris Bosnjakovic and Dalibor Sirola, the most decorated Grand Slam tennis player in history has begun working with Dr. Mark Kovacs, as can be seen in photos on social media.

Mark Kovacs specializes in sports science, exercise physiology, conditioning, and biomechanics. The focus of his work with elite athletes is injury prevention and training optimization.

It is well known that Djokovic has dealt with injuries at Grand Slam tournaments in the recent past, so such a move by the greatest of all time comes as no surprise.

The Australian Open begins on January 12, and Djokovic will attempt to win his 25th Grand Slam title.
