The celebrated basketball player Vladimir Štimac, who was detained last night, has not yet been released. As Nova.rs learns, although the judge upheld the appeal of his defense lawyer, which lifted his detention of up to 48 hours, Štimac is still in the detention regime.
It is still unknown what is happening with the celebrated basketball player.
Aleksandra, the wife of Vladimir Štimac, tells N1 that she saw the information that he was released in the media, but that she is still waiting for him to appear and is currently in front of the “29. novembar” police station.
His lawyer told N1 that he has not yet seen the decision.
Let us recall, the celebrated basketball player Vladimir Štimac was practically kidnapped in the middle of the night on the street by the police.
Štimac was arrested in front of the RTS building on the charge that in the “afternoon and evening hours on Nikola Pašić Square in the immediate vicinity of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, he called for a violent change of the constitutional order and incited participants of an unannounced gathering to carry out an attack on the participants of another announced gathering.”
