Serbian Prime Minister Đuro Macut reported a total of six real estate properties to the Anti-Corruption Agency in his latest asset and income report. These include five apartments and one family house, which is the villa KRIK wrote about, valued at approximately 1.2 million euros.
Macut stated that he purchased the 193 sqm property “through a combination of income from the sale of other real estate, personal savings, gifts, and a loan,” and that his monthly income is 372,847 dinars.

-The Million-Euro Villa
KRIK reported in late April that almost ten days after Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić announced that the next prime minister would be Professor of the Faculty of Medicine and endocrinologist Đuro Macut, the current prime minister increased his assets by an expensive property.
This doctor, previously unknown to the public, signed a contract on April 14 to purchase a 193-square-meter villa located in the wider center of the capital, in the Zvezdara municipality, as shown by cadastral data. Although it is not known exactly how much Macut paid for it, a real estate appraisal agency hired by KRIK calculated that the market value of the villa is more than one million euros.
“A family residential building with a footprint of 193 sqm, and a total construction area of 508 sqm, was built in Belgrade, Zvezdara municipality. The market value of the property and plot ranges from 1 to 1.2 million euros,” the agency stated.
