CNN RELEASES RECORDING: Trump Claims He Threatened Putin and Xi Jinping with Bombing Moscow and Beijing! (VIDEO)

Former US President Donald Trump said at a private donor event in 2024 that he once tried to deter Russian President Vladimir Putin from attacking Ukraine by threatening to “bomb Moscow” if he did, according to an audio recording obtained by CNN.

“I said to Putin, ‘If you go into Ukraine, I’m gonna bomb Moscow. I have no choice,'” Trump is heard saying in the recording from the donor event, released by CNN.

“And then Putin said, ‘You don’t believe me.’ But he believed me 10 percent,” Trump added. The former US President also claimed he sent a similar message to Chinese President Xi Jinping, warning him that the US would bomb Beijing if China invaded Taiwan.

“He thought I was crazy. But we never had a problem,” Trump said about Xi.

Recordings from multiple closed-door fundraising events for Trump’s 2024 re-election campaign in New York and Florida, obtained by journalists Josh Dawsey, Tyler Pager, and Isaac Arnsdorf, were published in their new book “2024” and have not been previously presented to the public, CNN reports.

Trump’s team declined to comment on their content, according to the American television network. This week, Trump expressed dissatisfaction with Putin’s rejection of a peace deal with Ukraine and said the Russian president “sells a bunch of nonsense” to the US.

“I’m not happy with Putin. I’m very unhappy with him,” Trump said during a cabinet meeting, according to CNN.
