Police entered the Military Medical Academy (VMA) in Belgrade in order to find a person who was allegedly supposed to provide Novi Sad activist and councilor Miša Bačulov with a poison that would cause symptoms of poisoning but would not endanger his health, reported Radio Television of Serbia.
According to information obtained by the Public Broadcaster, members of the Criminal Police Directorate entered, under the order of the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade, the premises of the Department of Toxicology at the VMA in order to identify, for now, an unknown individual who allegedly had the task of providing Bačulov with the appropriate dose of the poison “ricin,” which would cause symptoms of poisoning but would not endanger his health.
Novi Sad councilor Miša Bačulov and D. C. were arrested yesterday on suspicion that they had arranged and planned for Bačulov to be poisoned and then to accuse the president of Serbia and the state leadership for it.
It is suspected that they planned and coordinated actions that would create conditions for the direct execution of the criminal offense of attacking the constitutional order, according to the prosecutor’s office.
