A group calling themselves “students who want to study” is withdrawing this morning from the improvised camp in Pionir Park, FoNet reports.
On a section of the sidewalk at Nikola Pašić Square, cars are parked while campers pack their bags and belongings. Most of the tents are empty.
Police did not allow FoNet’s team to enter the park, but from behind the fence, it was visible that only men remained, packing up the tents. Also present in the park are municipal service vehicles and machinery for removing portable toilets.
FoNet reporters attempted to get statements from people leaving the camp, but no one was willing to talk.
On the sidewalk along Kralja Milana Street, tractors with punctured tires and broken windows remain parked.
Several van vehicles are stationed near the approach to Andrićev Venac from Kralja Milana Street.
There is also a small number of uniformed police officers present.
