High school students from the Mathematical Gymnasium in Belgrade have once again delighted us with their achievements. They won seven medals in Astana, at the 21st Zhautykov Olympiad in mathematics, physics, and computer science.
The Olympiad was held from January 13th to 17th. Approximately 700 students from 15 countries and around 80 schools participated.
In the team competition, the team from the Mathematical Gymnasium won the second prize. In the individual competition, our students achieved the following results:

In the mathematics competition, Nina Šušić won a gold medal, Novak Despotović and Vladimir Branković won silver medals.
Andrej Drobnjaković and Janko Popović won gold medals in physics.
Uroš Kostadinović won a silver medal in computer science, and Sofija Čebašek won a bronze medal.
The leaders of our team were professors Ivan Stanić and Boban Marinković.
