The Ulcinj police are investigating one or more suspects who, during the night between Tuesday and Wednesday, broke the entrance doors of the Orthodox Church of Saint Nicholas in Bijela Gora and caused damage to the interior of the religious building, “Vijesti” reports.

According to the same sources, the incident was reported today to the Ulcinj police and the prosecutor’s office. Inspectors from the Ulcinj Security Department (OB Ulcinj) conducted an on-site investigation.

“Officers of the OB Ulcinj police administration are taking measures and actions within their jurisdiction to identify the perpetrators of the criminal act,” the Ulcinj Basic State Prosecutor’s Office (ODT) announced.

Further details about the break-in cannot be disclosed at this time due to the potential risk of obstructing the investigation.
