BOOK PROMOTION AT THE GENERAL CONSULATE: Rodoljub Oreščanin presented “The Power of Vision” to the American audience!

In the premises of the Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in New York, on Thursday, October 16, 2025, the promotion of the book “The Power of Vision” by the author Rodoljub Oreščanin, a well-known motivational speaker, entrepreneur, and founder of the “Biznisnova” center, was held.

The goal of this event was to present contemporary Serbian authors to the American audience and the Serbian community in the USA, who inspire readers with their work and ideas, encouraging personal development, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit.

The author was joined by Dr. Aleksandar Santrač, a professor at the Catholic universities Loyola University and Mount St. Mary University, and Samuil Petrovski, a Protestant pastor and national director of EUS (IFES Serbia), as conversational partners.

Greeting the attendees, Consul General Dr. Vladimir Božović emphasized the importance of encouraging innovation and visionary thinking as key values of modern society. He pointed out that works such as “The Power of Vision” represent an important contribution to the culture of dialogue, the exchange of ideas, and the affirmation of examples of positive practice from Serbia in the world.

In a conversation with Dr. Aleksandar Santrač and Pastor Samuil Petrovski, Rodoljub Oreščanin spoke about the inspiration for this book, explaining how individuals can turn their dreams into achievable goals through a clear vision, motivation, and perseverance.

Oreščanin shared his experiences from working with young entrepreneurs and presented a concept that combines imagination and realization, pointing out that the “path from idea to action” is the essence of personal and professional success.

In the packed hall of the Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in New York, the atmosphere was very positive, with numerous questions from the audience. Guests from the world of business, the UN, the non-profit sector, and the academic community had the opportunity to share common ideas, learn a lot, and be encouraged to change something within themselves and around them.

The special guest at the promotion was Ambassador Željko Jović, who officially traveled to New York and came to the consulate straight from the airport to attend this event. In conversation with the attendees, Ambassador Jović shared his very positive impressions, while the author Rodoljub Oreščanin signed copies of his book in Serbian and English, which the visitors received as a gift, after the promotion.

The socializing and conversation about the book continued with Serbian drinks during the cocktail party organized on this occasion at the General Consulate, as well as at dinner with the author and program participants.
