On the night between Monday and Tuesday, the captain of the Serbian national team, Bogdan Bogdanović, played only his second game in the current NBA season. The brilliant shooter found himself on the Atlanta Hawks roster for the first time since the season opener, when he played against Brooklyn on October 23rd.

Bogdan Bogdanović recovered from a hamstring injury, did not play in the G-League, although he was briefly sent there, and then played against his former team. The Atlanta Hawks won an exciting finish against the Sacramento Kings with a score of 109:108 and improved their record to 8-7 in the current season.

The World Vice-Champion and Olympic bronze medalist came off the bench and played 18 and a half minutes. During that time, he scored 6 points (2/7 from the field), with three rebounds and assists each.

Interestingly, Bogdan continued his impressive streak of 92 consecutive games in which he hit at least one three-pointer. This is the seventh-longest such streak in NBA history and the second-longest for the Hawks. Kyle Korver once had a streak of 127 games with at least one made three-pointer. And before the game started, the popular Bogi reminded the audience in the hall what it looks like when he sets his “howitzer”, hitting a couple of shots from the center.

Hunter, Young, and Capela scored the key points for Atlanta in the uncertain finish, and Diandre Hunter was the most efficient with 24 points. Zakai Zeigler, the first pick of the previous draft, finished the game with 18 points (6/11 from the field).

Quinn Snyder’s team can certainly be pleased that Atlanta won the game in which Trae Young, the team’s primary offensive option, scored only 7 points, shooting 1/7 from the field. However, Young recorded as many as 19 assists in this duel.

On the other hand, De’Aaron Fox was excellent, scoring 28 points, but he was far from a fantastic performance in the previous game. Then the fast point guard recorded as many as 60 points in a loss to Minnesota. The most efficient for the “Kings” was Keegan Murray with 33 points.

Another Serbian national team player appeared on the NBA courts. Nikola Jović played only eight minutes in Miami Heat’s 106:89 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers and, during that time, recorded 3 points and rebounds each, with one assist.

The Toronto Raptors, coached by Serbian coach Darko Rajaković, finally won. The only Canadian NBA team had seven consecutive losses, 11 of the last 12, but then they defeated the Indiana Pacers 130:119 on their home court. OG Anunoby was the best in Toronto with 39 points (13/21 from the field).
