A helicopter that crashed in Houston on Sunday after colliding with a radio tower was privately owned, and officials believe it was an accident.
A video surfaced on X, formerly Twitter, purportedly showing the moment the helicopter struck the radio tower and fell to the ground.
Houston Police Chief Noe Diaz said it was unclear exactly how many people died, but there were reportedly four people on board the helicopter.

“An investigation will be launched, this is a major accident”, Diaz said, noting that the Federal Aviation Administration will also be involved.
The accident occurred in the Second Ward of Houston near Engelke Street and North Ennis Street on Sunday around 8 p.m., and the tower was brought down, said Mayor John Lee Houston.
Mayor Houston believes it will take several days to clear the accident site. The scene has been blocked off to the public, according to the Daily Mail.
“This is a tragic event tonight, it’s a tragic loss of life”, added Houston.
He added that the entire city is fortunate that the accident was not worse, as there is a butane reservoir nearby.
