On the Ibar highway, in the village of Baljevac between Ušće and Raška, a serious incident occurred this morning when a large rock broke off the cliff next to the road and collapsed directly onto a “Golf” brand vehicle.
“The rock suddenly broke off and fell onto a moving car. The impact was strong and the front of the car was significantly damaged. For now, there is no confirmed information about injuries,” eyewitnesses told RINA.
Traffic is difficult and occasionally completely suspended until the landslide and parts of the rock are removed from the road.
Drivers are advised to be careful and drive slower on this section, especially due to frequent landslides in the winter period on this part of the road.
