Students from Serbia won one silver and one bronze medal, as well as an honorary mention, at the International Winter Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence held in Ljubljana, competing against 95 participants from 24 countries.
The silver medal was won by Dimitrije Atanasković, a third-year student at “Svetozar Marković” Gymnasium in Niš, while the bronze medal went to Lazar Nikić, a second-year student at Šabac Gymnasium.
An honorary mention was awarded to Mateja Srejić, a third-year student at “Svetozar Marković” Gymnasium in Subotica.
Veljko Galović, a third-year student at “Veljko Petrović” Gymnasium in Sombor, was also part of the team.
The Serbian team was led by professors from the Faculty of Engineering Sciences at the University of Kragujevac, Vladimir Milovanović and Lazar Ilić.
