Actor Tihomir Tika Stanić, who attended the welcoming of students in Novi Sad, said that these are magnificent moments and that he is a happy man to be a contemporary of these historic events.
“There is so much emotion and positive energy among these young people,” said Tihomir Stanić for TV N1.
“We welcomed here children from Novi Pazar as well, and the fact that they walked more than 400 kilometers, and that they said no one will divide Serbia and that we are all together again and united in the feeling that we are doing something good — thanks to those children who are ready to make such sacrifices, I believe the future of Serbia is secure. It is obvious that behind this stands strength and determination. I don’t understand how people who still support this regime and the regime itself don’t see that this is strength, power, energy, love, and determination to take control of their own lives — and that it is invincible, that it has already brought about the changes we have been waiting for for decades,” said actor Stanić.

He also said that he hoped he would live to witness and participate as a “part of this world and time in which both people and society are changing.”
“Serbia is completely and definitively changing for the better, and this announces the imminent departure of the darkness that has covered us in recent decades,” Stanić told N1.
He added that he would spend the entire next day in Novi Sad during the commemorative gathering marking the anniversary of the collapse of the canopy at the city’s railway station.
“For the first time, things like this are happening. The fact that so many people came, even though we hear that once again they are trying to obstruct people with various tricks, is completely senseless. The fact is that for a year now, people have been proving that they have not and will not forget that innocent people died because of someone’s arrogance, greed, and irresponsibility,” Stanić concluded.
