A man, R. G., was arrested in Belgrade on suspicion that in October of last year he threw an explosive at a shop in Rakovica, and then wrote the abbreviation for the terrorist “KLA” on the door of the facility.
“Members of the police in Belgrade, in coordination with the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade, arrested R. G. (84) due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that he committed the criminal acts of illegal production, possession, carrying, and trafficking of weapons and explosive materials and causing general danger,” it was announced.
He is suspected of placing and activating an improvised explosive device on the door of an auto service in the territory of the Rakovica municipality in October of last year, after which the glass broke on the auto service, as well as on a neighboring facility.
He has been detained for up to 48 hours and, along with a criminal complaint, has been brought to the competent prosecutor’s office.
